04 / Procedure

How an appointment runs.

From the moment you reserve to the moment we hand the keys back, the full procedure, in order, with what we bring and what we need from you.

Mobile detailing is professional car detailing that comes to you — the detailer brings the water, power, and chemistry instead of you driving to a shop. Bridges runs a fully self-contained rig with an 80-gallon water tank and a 5500W generator, serving driveways and offices across Kaufman County and North Texas.

The Schedule

Eight steps,
start to finish.

T-72H 01

You reserve a window

Pick a service and a 2-hour arrival window through the booking page or by phone. Drop the vehicle’s address and a phone number we can text. The whole step takes about two minutes.

T-48H 02

We confirm in writing

You receive a text within the hour with the scope of work, the agreed-on price, and an estimated finish time. Reply with any details about the vehicle or location.

T-24H 03

Reminder + weather check

The morning before your appointment you’ll get a reminder text. If weather looks risky for exterior work, we’ll raise it then, never the day-of.

T-0 04

Truck arrives, self-contained

We arrive in the agreed-on window with our own water (80 gallons), our own power (5500W onboard), our own lighting, and every chemical the job needs. You don’t lift a finger.

WORK 05

Pre-work walk-around

Together, or by photo-share if you’re not home, we walk the paint and the interior. Note anything that needs attention, agree on anything off-scope, then begin.

WORK 06

The detail

Done in the right order with the right chemistry. Photo updates sent at major milestones: wash complete, decon complete, polishing complete, coating leveled.

FINAL 07

Walk-through + photos

You get a final walk-around with the finished work. Photos archived to your file. Aftercare instructions sent by text. Any questions answered on the spot.

FINAL 08

Payment + receipt

Pay on completion: card, tap-to-pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, or Zelle. You receive a written receipt and a maintenance schedule if you took a coating.

Two ways to start, one paper trail either way. If you reserve through the online scheduler, you choose the service and the two-hour arrival window yourself, and you land on the booking confirmation page — it recaps your service, appointment time, and confirmation number on the spot, while the confirmation email is still in transit. Worth a screenshot if you’re arranging the detail for someone else’s driveway.

If you’d rather ask a question first — scope, timing, or whether the paint needs correction before a coating — send the contact form and you’ll land on the message-received page; Nate answers within one business hour during operating hours, Monday through Saturday, 7AM to 7PM. Either path funnels into the same step two above: a written text confirmation carrying the scope, the agreed price, and the estimated finish time, in a thread you can scroll back through on appointment day.

What We Bring

Self-contained.

Bridges arrives with everything required to do the job in your driveway. We do not require water access, power, lighting, or shelter, though we’ll happily use yours if offered.

Water

Onboard 80-gallon tank, never needs a customer spigot. Filtered through a soft-water resin to prevent water spotting on dark paint.

Power

5500W onboard generator runs polishers, extractors, and lighting. We don’t tap your outlet unless you offer.

Lighting

Panel LED for paint inspection. Catches the swirls and oxidation drive-throughs and shops miss.

Chemistry

Coatings from Gyeon and Koch-Chemie. Polishes from Koch-Chemie and 3D. Interior chemistry from P&S, Chemical Guys, and Leatherique.

Simple & transparent

What to expect
on-site.

Water & Power

Nothing needed — the onboard tank and generator come on every job. If you’d rather we use your spigot or outlet, just offer.

Space

We need about one parking space around the vehicle to work safely. Shade is a bonus but not required; we work in any weather short of rain on exterior jobs.

Time

Most services take 2 to 6 hours. Ceramic coatings can run overnight for proper cure. You don’t need to be present, we keep you updated.

Every mobile detail starts with a walk-around inspection and a written scope, no surprises, no upcharges mid-job. Most residential details take 90 minutes to 4 hours depending on tier; ceramic coating installs take a full day. We typically need 20 feet of driveway or parking space and arrive fully self-contained. Same-day and weekend bookings are available throughout Kaufman County, Rockwall County, eastern Dallas County, and northern Henderson County. Questions about what’s included? Common questions

Anything
else?

What is mobile detailing? +

Mobile detailing is professional car detailing performed wherever your vehicle is parked instead of at a shop. The detailer arrives with everything the job needs — water, power, lighting, and chemistry — so the vehicle never leaves your driveway, office lot, or job site, and you never wait in a lobby.

How does mobile detailing work? +

Three steps: you book a two-hour arrival window, you get a written text confirmation with the scope of work and the agreed price, and a self-contained truck arrives and does the work right where the vehicle lives. You pay on completion and receive a written receipt.

What does professional car detailing include? +

A professional car detail follows a fixed order: wash, decontamination, then protection on the outside; vacuum, extraction, then conditioning on the inside. What separates professional car detailing from a quick clean is the equipment and the paper trail — pro-grade chemistry from brands like Gyeon and Koch-Chemie, panel lighting to inspect the paint, a written scope agreed before work starts, and a walk-through with photos when it ends.

Do you have an auto detail shop I can visit? +

No storefront — Bridges is the auto detail shop that comes to you. The truck carries the shop: an 80-gallon water tank, a 5500W generator, panel lighting, and every chemical the job needs, so your driveway, office lot, or job site becomes the work bay. The work a fixed detail shop does in a bay happens at your address instead, Monday through Saturday, 7AM to 7PM.

Do I need to be home during the detail? +

Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the vehicle, most customers leave us to it — the rig carries its own water and power. We will text updates and photos along the way.

What do you need from me on-site? +

Nothing. The rig is fully self-contained — onboard water tank and generator come on every job, so we never need your water or power. If you would rather we use your spigot or outlet, that works too, but it is never required.

How long will it take? +

A basic wash is about 60–90 minutes. A full detail runs 4–6 hours. Ceramic coatings can take up to two days for proper curing. We will give you an exact estimate when you book.

Do you come to homes and offices? +

Yes. We detail at homes, offices, apartment complexes, job sites, and dealership lots across Kaufman County and North Texas.

How do I pay? +

We accept card, tap-to-pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is due on completion.

What if it rains on my appointment day? +

Exterior work cannot happen in rain, but interior details continue as scheduled. If the weather turns, we will reach out to reschedule exterior work at no charge.

Do you offer recurring service? +

Yes — monthly maintenance details keep your vehicle in top shape and lock in a lower rate. Ask us about recurring pricing when you book.

That’s the whole
process.

Reserve a window, same-week availability most weeks, by appointment only.
